Thank you to everyone who attended the annual AER auction! We had a great turnout this year and brought in almost $8,000. We enjoyed excellent food and there were lots of terrific items donated by generous businesses and individuals that helped make the auction a success. There was a ton of hay to win, some nice saddles and other tack, rubber stall mats, a BIG mineral lick, hand crafted items, gift coupons to some great shops, train tickets, and much more.
AER would like to give a special thanks to our very talented auctioneer, Gary Feaster, who donated his skills, and kept the auction on track. Many thanks to the ROTC for their help during the auction, as usual they did a fabulous job. And thanks to all the volunteers who provided support throughout the event. AER is now in a better position to continue with our mission of helping neglected horses and educating the public about how to care for our equine friends in Alaska. Thanks Again!
